Global Graduates Connect brings programme participants into a network of fellow change makers working towards, individual, community, and global transformation.

The things we hear most from our girls when they finish our Global Girl Leadership Initiative (GGLI) are:

  • “What’s next?”

  • “How can I stay connected to Global Girl Project and to the girls I met as part of this process?”

  • “Being online has opened up a whole new world for me”

  • “Meeting and connecting with other girls from all over the world has made me realise I am not isolated”

In response to these questions, GGP has developed Global Graduates Connect (GGC) - our e-learning and community platform.

This platform brings our graduates into a digital ecosystem and connects them to a lifelong family of other women and girls who have participated in GGP programmes, and enabling them to continue learning and collaborating to drive change across their communities.

We were also able to talk with girls just like us but from other countries or states as part of the sessions, and we realised that they face the same challenges that we do. We learnt about how to connect using the internet, and how to use Google Translate and the Global Graduates Connect platform so we can always stay connected.

Our girls in India getting online for the first time

A platform to connect our graduates

Available to all graduates, the secure digital platform provides:

  • Access to free educational materials and resources about leadership

  • Opportunities to discover new career pathways and opportunities

  • Learning materials about gender equality issues and social change

  • Examples of what leadership looks like in different parts of the world

  • A place to meet other graduates and build new projects, together

An evolving ecosystem and community

As more graduates enter the GGC community, we ensure the platform is constantly improving and growing, making more content available to users and providing access to a wider network and more diverse network to learn from and collaborate with.

As a key part of this, our graduates are given opportunities to continue to build and support the ecosystem. For example, many of our girls give back to the community by becoming a programme facilitator themselves, or further enhance the web platform through skill and experience-building initiatives such as  paid content creation placement roles.
