Since 2014, Global Girl Project has been mobilising girls across the Global Majority to develop leadership skills, take action on the issues affecting their lives, and create positive change in their communities.

Working alongside trusted grassroots partner organisations, we deliver locally led leadership programmes that equip girls with the confidence, skills, networks, and opportunities to lead. From education and gender equality to climate justice, health, and community wellbeing, girls are identifying challenges, designing solutions, and driving change where they live.

Delivered over 52,000 hours of in-person education

Contributed over $120,000 of direct funding to girls for their continuing education

Onboarded over 1,400 girls into our Global Graduates Connect ecosystem

Brought girls together across 15 countries

 

Reached over 10,000 community members through our girls’ events

Beyond Individual Growth

The impact of our programmes extends beyond individual participants.

Since 2014, girls participating in our programmes have led community action projects addressing issues such as education, gender equality, gender-based violence, mental health, climate justice, community wellbeing, and youth leadership. Through these initiatives, girls have reached thousands of community members and contributed to positive change in their schools, families, and communities.
